And i also have a habit of testing loved ones for their love and care just like Jihaan did test haya. And while reading this JKP i lost myself completely in istanbul and taksim. I mean it maybe right for routine issues but the kind that she got stuck in she should’ve mentioned it to her brother or father. This book came in my life like a hurricane and diminished my sleep, my hunger, my extra-curricular activities, my life, my every single thing, not in a creepy way. Haya suffered alot of pain and then she transformed in to completely different person. Just that things don’t feel as original and I am not as smitten.
Firstly, the things admired me most: What was the author even thinking? In the start the book was very good, a good mystery but then it took a filmy turn which is Nimra Ahmed’s forte, so i was like rolling my eyes throughout that part and i was telling and laughing over it with my bro. This book is on my top 5 favorite list. Also, I think the plot was unrealistic in many ways. Here are my some comments about it. Wo bandi itni smart banti thi, Pinky ko pehchan lia.

I am feeling sorry to type this but Nimra Ahmed used Islam as a tool to rope in the Pakistani naive audience who have a soft corner for the amalgam of religion and romance. Sep 29, Moneeza Rafiq rated it it was ok Shelves: Jihaan you are just love and haya you are too. I don’t know how Haya could be so blindly in love to let that go. Achi larkiya thaper bht acha marti hain tum mery hatho bht pito ge bharay gul. It was first published in Shuaa Digest from March to May Cihan was many things but he wasn’t a hypocrite and Haya may not be many things but she is a moron.

I rmember one such situation, and I site this example to others frequently. It is my first Urdu literature novel and rightly so it was worth all the praise and glory.

I have no idea why it is necessary for our novels to have an extremely beautiful heroine and an arrogant hero like Jehan. EDIT Read it finally and now i can’t gather my thoughts. episods

I am still a big fan. Jul 18, Momna rated it it was amazing. There was good character development of these two and even Jihaan. Salaar Sikander, Jehan Sikander. A story of courage, reality, struggle and faith.
Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. And i love their reserved personality and i wish i could also find someone like Major Jihaan Sikander Ahmed.
The only thing missing was a dhooom tana nananana sound coming out of the pages. Irum was enjoying this whole scene like a vamp but when our superhuman hero played it, it turned out to be the pictures of meesni Irum and Waleed with the Shiela ki Jawani song playing in the background while the pictures changed like MS PowerPoint slides.
It was not joking when it hurt to the depths of her soul! D This was beyond tacky. The novel is well-written, the plot has been sketched out beautifully though it became a bit convoluted at one point for me to follow smoothly. The whole story of Haya is very absurd and extremely unrealistic. View all 4 comments. Jan 26, zain ul aabdin rated it liked it. Khaber daar agar meri biwi ky baray ak lafz b galat kaha tum ny irum.
I hate people like her. In her trademark style, she leaves you with a thought, that they will be doing it again. I believe with all my heart that a day will come when this book will be translated into English, and this book will rule the brains and heart of people outside Asia, too.

Taya janbat Waleed Irum Hashim The best dialogues are Us larki ky nam jo kisi un chahy ristay ky jurny ky khoof sy roti hy tu kabi un chahy rishtay ky tootny ky khoof sy roti hy. With all the hype I expected better I guess. I am comparing both novels because the main protagonists of both stories had the army background with their fathers being labelled as traitors. Mar 23, Madiha J Bookblogger added it Shelves: The novel tries to show us that every bad thing that happened to Haya before her hijab was her fault, because she always dressed provocatively and got herself in trouble with other men and invited the displeasure of family members.

No one changes so drastically in such a short I don’t know why our writers add religious philosophies to every novel. The novel tried to be feminist by showing us how strong and independent Haya becomes at the end of the novel, which is great, but reinforces the idea that girls who don’t cover up properly and have secret boyfriends are behaya peisode the boys go scot free no matter what they do.

I love the protagonists of this novel Olnine some of the seasoned writers, names I will not mention here; are too vivid in describing the intimate moments. Epispde know that Haya’s character was also very important because most of the story is written considering her point of view. I don’t know why our writers add religious philosophies to every novel.
First of all, thank you Nemrah for writing something different. I don’t know why girls like him so much. I like Nimra ahmed’s effort of bringing everybody closer to the meanings of the Quran through explaining some ayahs! When I can’t decide what I should read, I open this.
But hannat she was unsettled by the fact that this faceless officer already knew so much about her.
